Fort Dodge Regional Airport (FOD) http://www.fortdodgeiowa.org/department/division.php?fDD=5-23 is located 3 miles north of Fort Dodge. There are two runways: One is 6,547 x 150 ft and the other is 5,301 x 100 ft. Delta Airlines offers 2 non-stop flights daily to Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Minneapolis International Airport (MSP) www.mspairport.com is centrally located within a 30 miniute drive of downtown Minneaplis and St. Paul. has one airfield with four runways and two terminal buildings – the Terminal 1-Lindbergh and Terminal 2-Humphrey -each with adjoining parking ramp facilities. The following airlines serve MSP: Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, American,, Continental, Delta, Frontier, United, US Airways, Air Tran Airways, Icelandair, Southwest, and Sun Country. Union Pacific (UP) www.up.com runs north/south through Palo Alto County and directly serves West Bend, Rodman, Emmetsburg and Graettinger.
Dakota, Minnesota and Eastern (DM&E) runs east/west through Palo Alto County and directly serves Cylinder, Emmetsburg and Ruthven.
Regional Taxi Service:
RIDES (Regional Transit Authority Taxi) is available for individuals or small groups. Taxi service runs in Emmetsburg from 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. Cost is $2.50 one way. The taxi only runs in Emmetsburg, however individuals can be transported to/from other communities for medical reasons only.
